On Aug. 8 and 9, the Tomato Art Fest descended on East Nashville's Five Points neighborhood for its 22nd annual iteration.

From a bloody-mary-themed garden party and live performances from several local artists to vendors, the “Push, Pull and Wear” parade, the Tomato Costume Contest and the Tomato Red Head Contest, the festivities brought in thousands of festive Nashvillians. Scene staff photographer Angelina Castillo was there to capture all the wholesome, nightshade-themed action.
