Inner Views with Emily Janney

Join us as we interview guest expert, Dr. Christopher Motley

  1. WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Inner Views isssss...... well, exactly what it sounds like! A (pilot) interview-based talk series launching this summer in Nashville! Inner Views is comin' in hot with all the tips, tools and life chats we need to explore how our Inner Worlds are contributing to the collective (and tumultuous) state of affairs on planet Earth today. (May the odds be ever in your favor, dear Revolving One)

BUT what IS an Inner World? Well, we had a hunch you'd ask that (thanks, predictive analytics).  Take a look below so we can all be on the same wavelength!

Inner World - noun.

1. The invisible stuff you can feel but can't see (think: emotions, dreams, intuition, fear & all the baggage you've been packin' since your first crush left you on the playground in '95)

2. The epicenter for every (+/-) force of creation

3.  The one place we just keep forgetting to look as we frantically run about creating more to do's, side hustles, and grams for the Gram, all in the name of... finding ourselves?

You can think of Inner Views as an educational experience that has been designed to help you explore the best version of yourself.  We want our Viewers (pun totally intended) to leave our events feeling awakened.  And, for those of you contextually sensitive individuals, know this: If Inner Views meditated on a mantra daily, it would be Truth.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Topic: Energy & Emotions.  One of Nashville’s most popular doctors, Dr. Christopher Motley will use a (science-based) Chinese medicine perspective to teach us about the relationship between organs and emotions (we all know that the heart processes love, but did you know that the lungs process grief?).  We’ll look at everyday stressors and how they impact our ability to process emotions energetically.

Perks: Free cocktails and snacks will be provided by Kindred Bar Catering (shout out to Avo's new venture!), along with a surprise giveaway and tons of time for live Q&As!

Details: June 11th, 6:00pm-8:00pm, with cocktails and health conscious snacks available from 6:00pm-6:30pm.  We'll dive into programming at 6:30pm, so don't be late!

Location: We're partnering with Industrious @ the Gulch to kick things off.  When you arrive, park anywhere in the parking garage utilized for the 1033 Demonbreun Street building.  Then, hop an elevator up to the third floor (#300) to find us!

YOUR HOSTS

Host: Emily Janney, M.Ed.  Emily has been asking life's deep questions since the age of 4, when she began counseling her babysitters on their romantic relationships.  She loves puns, plants and her promiscuous horse, Rose. ALL of Emily's friends are doctors, so she is building them a platform to change the way we think about our own evolution.

Guest: Dr. Motley, DC  Dr. Motley has been called the “John Lennon of Kinesiology” - a true medicine man revolutionizing the way we heal the human mind, body and spirit.  He’s known around town for his innovative approach to healing AND for his entertaining dance moves. Dr. Motley is healing the world, one laugh at a time.
