For our food coverage, we consider reviews as well as trend pieces, round-ups and shorter items for our recurring features Cheap Eats (covering inexpensive eats around the city), Booze Hound (our cocktail column), and Veg Out (covering vegetarian eats).

While restaurant reviews require multiple visits and research, we’re also open to quicker trend and feature pieces — on restaurant openings, round-ups of great establishments, profiles of food professionals and more. 

Any food-related pitches should be no longer than 200 words and include details on sources and other relevant info, as well as details on what we might need to photograph for the story (people, establishments, dishes, etc.).
