Our Critics’ Picks section covers a variety of local events with short blurbs explaining why they’re noteworthy. Topics include concerts, community events, book readings, film screenings. Pitch well in advance — we assign the Critics’ Picks section around two weeks in advance of the event. It’s advised that you spend some time reading through the section — which you can find online here — to familiarize yourself with the scope and tone that we’re looking for.
