FW Publishing, owners of the Nashville Scene, Nfocus, Nashville Post and Home Page Media, has an immediate opening for an Advertising Solutions Associate (Junior advertising sales associate) responsible for supporting Advertising Solutions Managers (Senior Account Executives) with prospecting, presenting, closing, and servicing our advertising and media partners across our complete line of marketing solutions (print, digital and event sponsorships). In this role you’ll learn about our publications and our wide array of advertising solutions, the advertising sales process, provide support, and be mentored by senior sales specialists.

Qualifications and disposition of the ideal candidate:
- Detail-oriented with fantastic organizational skills.
- Skilled at multi-tasking.
- The ability to cultivate relationships, consult and present advertising solutions to local business owners and decision-makers
- Willingness to aggressively build new business and manage existing accounts
- Maintain ownership of complete sales cycle.
- Comfortable with generating leads, cold calling and developing a client base
- Possess a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Knowledge of CRM database(s) management.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of digital, email, and social media advertising.
- Familiarity with advertising and marketing agencies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Fearless and open to challenges and changes in an ever-changing media environment.
- Strong listening, communication and presentation skills a must.
- Comfortable in a face paced environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Eagerness to secure a sales related job.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- In this entry level (0-2 year experience) sales position, you will support Advertising Solutions Managers (ASM) with all aspects or maintaining client accounts including trafficking advertising materials to clients for approval, preparing proposals and presentations, collections and face to face meetings, maintaining CRM notes, and customer relations.
- Developing sales skills in order to build your own advertising client list and maintain regular communication.
- Consulting with ASM regularly to develop plan of action with each client account and looking for up-selling opportunities.
