Weekly Open Thread: What's Your Favorite Food Truck?

This week in Dining, Chris Chamberlain talks to Crystal and Joseph Bogan, the duo behind The Grilled Cheeserie, one of Nashville's most popular food trucks, which not only has a truck parked on a regular basis at the Nashville Farmers' Market, but also are planning to open a bricks-and-mortar location in Hillsboro Village, in partnership with restaurant group Fresh Hospitality.

The story is worth checking out, especially because Chris gets to the bottom of questions like whether The Grilled Cheeserie will continue to run a food truck after the restaurant opens. (The answer is yes, that's the plan.) And good sports that they are, the Bogans also appear in the photo shoot for this week's Summer Guide issue of the Scene.

We at Bites definitely have food trucks on our mind, given that food truck season is hitting full swing, and Nashville Food Truck Month continues through May, with Street Food Thursdays going on downtown through the end of June.

The popular (and polarizing) Peach Truck is now roaming Nashville's streets, so that's worth checking out, particularly when the freestones arrive later this summer.

A lot of new trucks have hit the scene lately, and there a many old reliables. I'm a big fan of Deg Thai, and of course Moovers and Shakers is a great choice (handmade milkshakes — enough said). I'm also excited to try out the Cousins Maine Lobster truck, which Chris wrote about last week.

So what's your favorite food truck? And what else is on your mind this week?
