Every now and again someone laments the fact that we don't have a true brew cinema like the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in Austin, but the fact is you can enjoy a delicious beer at the Belcourt while you watch your movie. Now thanks to a an event co-sponsored by Fido, you can have a beer while you watch a movie about beer. How meta!
Fido and Bounty Beverage Distributors present a Craft Beer and Food Tasting along with a screening of the documentary Beer Wars. the event is next Wednesday, Dec. 15, starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy an evening of great small batch beers from around the country paired with food from Fido's kitchen prepared by Chef John Stephenson.
The popular documentary details the craft beer industry's struggle against the the big boys at Bud, Miller and Coors as they strive to make their mark in the brewing industry.
