, the popular locally based chain, has opened the doors of its new location in East Nashville. It's in the mixed-use development at 11th and Fatherland streets.
The first Local Taco opened in 2009 on Murphy Road in Sylvan Park. Since then the company has added locations in Brentwood; Lexington, Ky.; Greenville, S.C., and Asheville, N.C.
The new Fatherland Street location serves a similar menu to the other Local Taco outposts, and it has a full bar, a patio and garage-door windows that can roll up in nice weather.
The Local Taco is at 1100 Fatherland St., Suite 104, in East Nashville. Current hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. But there are plans to possibly add a late-night menu and extended bar hours sometime next year.
