Brothers Aziz and Sean Ashurov are making a stealthy debut with their Taste of Italy restaurant at 208 Fourth Avenue North. For now, the restaurant is offering takeout and delivery only, while the owners wait to get the air conditioning system installed.
When things cool off, the Brothers Ashurov will invite guests to dine inside the building, which formerly housed Okinawa restaurant. The downtown restaurant is their second Taste of Italy. (The original is in Donelson.) The team also owns Steak Plus Pizza in Antioch.
Taste of Italy offers a roster of pastas, homemade pizzas, steaks, sandwiches, salads and desserts, with prices ranging between $3.99 and $12.99. Takeout and delivery within a 7-mile radius are available from 10 a.m. until late, seven days a week. (Phone: 732-2000.)
