Sprinkles Cupcakes, the cupcake chain that decorates their lovely cake lumps with two little fondant circles so they look kind of like a boob, is coming to Nashville! And the (in)famous "Cupcake ATM" is coming with ’em.
The company announced the new Nashville shop on Facebook, saying it will open this winter at 2606 12th Ave. S. in the 12South neighborhood. The shop will offer cupcakes, cookies and ice cream, and the automated treat machine will give consumers 24/7 access to cookies and cupcakes. (Why can't you get a robot arm to scoop some ice cream, though?)
I've never had a Sprinkles Cupcake, and it's hard to believe they'll be better than Cupcake Collection's goods, but I'm still looking forward to their arrival, if only because I will finally be able to get a cupcake on a Saturday after 9 p.m. I just hope they use less frosting than Gigi's.
