Yesterday I toured a restaurant-in-progress that could quickly become a local culinary landmark. Andrew Chadwick, a former chef at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and Meadowood in Napa Valley, is putting the final rehabbing touches on a historic residence on Rutledge Hill, where he will unveil a menu of California contemporary cuisine. With a seldom-seen view of downtown and windows framing the chef's organic gardens, Andrew Chadwick's on Rutledge Hill is slated to launch Nov. 19 at 37 Rutledge St. Read more about the project in tomorrow's Scene.
