Buttermilk Road Sunday Supper Returns to Barista Parlor

Lisa Donovan

If you haven't heard about Lisa Donovan's popular

Buttermilk Road Sunday Supper

series yet, you've probably had you're head in the ground or you just don't hang out with the right culinary crowd. I've not attended one yet, but many of my friends say the former pastry chef from Margot and City House has put on some really entertaining, delicious events.

As with most semi-underground suppers clubs, you need to be in the know to find out when and where the next event will be in time to make reservations. If you'd like to get on the list, sign up at the website or like Buttermilk Road Sunday Suppers on Facebook. For her next trick, Donovan is returning to Andy Mumma's Barista Parlor in East Nashville on Sunday, Nov. 18.

As usual, the fabulous Robin Riddell will choose the wine pairings to accompany Donovan's thematic menu. the Nov. 18 dinner has a "back to nature" theme and is completely vegetarian. If you are thinking of cutting back on your meat intake ahead of the Thanksgiving food orgy, check out this tantalizing menu:
