Nashville has more themed holiday pop-up bars this year than stripes on a candy cane. This is the eighth in our 12 Days of Christmas Pop-Ups series, designed to help you find more holiday bling for your buck.
If you're a dashing-through-the-snow type, you’ll like the idea of hitting the road to visit one or more of the dozen different options along the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. The distillers created a holiday pop-up bar map. Some are right in town, including Big Machine Brewery and Distillery and Nashville Barrel Co., featuring (respectively) Aunt Bethany’s Christmas Surprise and what is being billed as “the World’s Best Cocktail.”
Each stop has a theme (Candyland at Big Machine and Elf at Nashville Barrel) and their own individual brands of fun and food. Visit each distillery on the trail and get a digital stamp in your digital passport, and you might win prizes. Because the holidays are more fun with presents.
