Nashville wine educator Robin Riddell Jones has been a longtime favorite of local grape lovers for her work as a beverage consultant through her company Tavola. If you’ve never enjoyed one of her wine classes (or even if you have!) you should definitely consider experiencing the way she teaches about wine without the pretentiousness often associated with traditional wine education.
Now you have a new chance to check it out as Jones kicks off the first of her new classes at a new venue, Barista Parlor at 519-B Gallatin Ave. this Thursday, March 8, beginning at 6:30 p.m. She’ll be taking students on a tour of wines of the Northwest with the opportunity to sample four wines accompanied by small bites. Focusing on the unique terroir of the region, Jones will undoubtedly introduce you to some new favorites, and it will be a fun sociable event.
