Roze Pony Under Construction in Belle Meade
Roze Pony Under Construction in Belle Meade

Work continues on the future space of Roze Pony in Belle Meade, sister restaurant to East Nashville's popular Cafe Roze.

Local chef and restaurateur Julia Jaksic announced in late 2019 that the new all-day market cafe will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and feature a grab-and-go market for coffee and to-go items.

Roze Pony will operate at Belle Meade Galleria at 5133 Harding Pike in West Nashville in a space once home to a Subway sandwich shop.

The building permit is valued at $307,000, with Bacon Construction handling the job.

According to last year's release, Roze Pony will offer "fresh, simple and approachable dishes" that will change with the seasons and feature local produce and proteins.

The space will offer "warm, inviting and thoughtful wooden fixtures," leather banquettes and penny tile. A small bar will focus on cocktails.

Roze Pony is the second Nashville concept from Jaksic, who opened Cafe Roze in East Nashville in 2017. That cafe was featured on Bon Appetit’s Best New Restaurants of 2018.
