At the far right view, a man orders from a food truck, with another visible in the distance advertising empanadas. A few picnic benches with ubrellas are to the left, in front of a two floor structure that has a deck on top.

Lost and Found

When Lost & Found opened in March at 3104 Gallatin Pike, most of the businesses at the open-air food truck park and marketplace concentrated on afternoon and evening hours. The neighborhood has quickly embraced the concept — to the point where all of the food truck vendors feel confident to open earlier to offer lunch service, every day except Sunday.

All of the food trucks plus Pizza Lolo’s brick-and-mortar location will open at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and the outdoor cocktail bar Fortunate Sun will start serving at 11 a.m. if you need a head start on lunch. Retrograde Coffee opens every day at 7 a.m. if you’re seeking a different kind of morning buzz.

This means more hours of empanadas from Chivanada, Guyanese and Caribbean treats from The Pepper Pott, West Coast tacos from Katri Taqueria and Korean fusion fare from QBOP! Korean BBQ. Considering I eat more meals at restaurants for lunch than for dinner, I’m quite pleased with this news!
