East Nashville food court Hunters Station is in transition, as craft beer bar Picnic Tap and Tacos Aurora recently closed and two new businesses are slated for the facility.
Nashville-based Fresh Hospitality owns the Five Points-area food and beverage property, which opened in October 2019 and offers an address of 975 Main St.
Matt Bodnar, a partner with Fresh Hospitality, tells Scene sister publication the Nashville Post that three of the food hall’s six spaces offer tenants: Hugh Baby's (BBQ and burgers), Vui’s Kitchen (Vietnamese cuisine) and Everbowl (acai bowls).
Picnic Tap, an original Hunters Station tenant, ceased operations early this month, shortly after Tacos Aurora closed in mid-August. Those closings followed The Grilled Cheeserie’s closure in October 2022. Â
Bodnar says the company is in the process of getting two spaces prepared and “finalizing the details” for the future concepts. He declined to identify the two businesses to join the food hall, the structure for which previously accommodated a custom parts automobile retailer.
In addition, Bodnar said the office space on the second floor of the food hall is fully leased and the commercial kitchen downstairs is fully leased and “bustling with activity every day.”
Relatedly, a building located adjacent to the food hall and also owned by Fresh Hospitality is home to breakfast restaurant Snooze, an A.M. Eatery. That building shares an address with the food hall structure and is considered part of Hunters Station.
