Chef Brandon Frohne Hosts Pop-Up at The Nashville Jam Co.

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard much about chef Brandon Frohne, the young culinarian who made a splash on television cooking shows and helmed the kitchens at Mason’s in the Loews Vanderbilt hotel and as culinary director of Holler & Dash Biscuit House. He’s been passing the time since leaving the world of biscuits to help out in friends’ kitchens and explore some new food obsessions.

And lucky us, he’s going to share them with us at a one-night pop-up on Saturday, Oct. 3, at The Nashville Jam Company's cafe location at 2806 Columbine Place in Berry Hill. (This also happens to be the former home of the bygone and lamented Mothership BBQ, a fact of which I will remind anyone who listens to me, if for no other reason than to nudge my friend and former pitmaster Jim Reams to stir up another batch of Mothership Sauce.)

Anyhow, Frohne will be serving up a concise menu of his current kitchen favorites from 5-9 p.m. for indoor or outdoor distanced dining, carryout or delivery via Postmates. There will also be a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, local craft beer and Diskin Cider for purchase to accompany this menu of decadent eats.

Menu:

Double Truffle Smash Burger

Shaved Black Truffle, Smoked Fontina Cheese Whiz, Mustard Aioli, Potato Chip Crumb Bun

Foot Long Fries

Umami Love Dust, Comeback Sauce

Pumpkin Spiced Boozy Pie

Maple Pumpkin Custard, Salted Pecan Shortbread Crumble, Bourbon Apple Jam, Torched Meringue

When it’s gone, it’s gone, so get there early lest you miss out on the treats!
