The Shoppes on Fatherland are going to smell a little less delicious every morning — the owners of Bakery by Frothy Monkey have announced plans to close their East Nashville-based brick-and-mortar store in April and transition to offering retail food and beverage products via Frothy Monkey cafes, farmers markets and pop-up shops.
The Bakery by Frothy Monkey wholesale operations will eventually operate within a 7,200-square-foot space in a building located at 200 Hill Ave., off Murfreesboro Road in South Nashville. The bread CSA program and catering will continue and expand as well, with details forthcoming, according to a release.
“We are looking forward to continue to fulfill Nashville’s growing demand for high-quality artisan bread and pastries,” Ryan Pruitt, Frothy Monkey managing partner, said in the release.
