Adele’s New Bar Menu Is a Blast From the Past
Adele’s New Bar Menu Is a Blast From the Past

Everything old is new again at Adele’s in the Gulch, as the restaurant rolls back the clock (or calendar) with its cocktail menu from now until Labor Day. While sometimes it seems like mixologists have started to use random ingredient generators to come up with new recipes in the face of so much innovation in the industry, the classics are always appreciated.

In that vein, the bartenders at Adele’s have dedicated their late-summer menu to celebrating 10 of the most influential drinks of the 20th century, with one from each decade from 1900 on. Among the featured cocktails will be classics like the Mai Tai, piña colada, daiquiri (and not the frozen kind from a machine!), Singapore sling and tequila sunrise. If any of those drinks bring back good (or possibly hazy) memories, drop in to relive the past.

If you’re not familiar with the history of these classic cocktails, they will be served up on place settings with facts and trivia about each drink — or just ask your bartender to fill you up with the knowledge. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 615-988-9700 or online at adelesnashville.com.
