Sure, there may be interesting musical entertainment at this year’s Family Day — Grammy-nominated Latin rock group Ozomatli, Grammy-nominated banjo player Abigail Washburn and 21-string Chinese zither player Wu Fei, to name a few — but the list of stuff for kids is amazing: a skateboard maker, an origami club, button and paper-making, an instrument lab and many more local artists. It’s a great chance to unleash a kid’s creative side. For adults, the tickets are $25, but everyone under age 12 gets in free. STEVE CAVENDISH
