Pride Month is officially here, and Nashville has tons of places to celebrate — but it’s not every day Sasha Colby comes to town. The stunning, versatile and fashion-forward Season 15 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race will make her way to East Nashville as part of STRUT, a queer cultural series with events in more than 15 cities. Set to run from 2 until 9 p.m., Nashville’s daytime lineup is absolutely stacked. STRUT will also feature performances from local drag performers including Blush, Fay Ludes and Stevie Dicks as well as a live performance from the Nashville Opera. In addition, country trio The Cowgays will take the stage, DJ Afrosheen and Aaron Monty will deliver DJ sets, and At-Large Metro Councilmember Olivia Hill will speak. What these varied acts all have in common is something to celebrate for Pride Month and a moment in the spotlight under the backyard disco ball at Rosemary & Beauty Queen.
