Seth Haley’s self-described “slow-motion funk” sounds like the score of an ’80s B-movie. The New Jersey producer, who records and performs under the spoonerist pseudonym Com Truise, started releasing circuit-scorching, heavy-bottomed synth records in 2010. His music is a hodgepodge of sounds, borrowing heavily from Tangerine Dream soundtracks, early dream pop, New Order and science-fiction sound-effects teams. Nearly a decade since launching, Com Truise now claims four albums, four EPs, and an ever-expanding catalog of remixes for other artists, including Neon Indian and Daft Punk. Opener Altopalo’s latest single “Letdown” is a spacious, ultra-chill dose of futuristic pop, and New York’s Beshken will kick things off with his ethereal electro-pop, which falls somewhere between Boards of Canada and Frank Ocean. 8 p.m. at Exit/In, 2208 Elliston Place P.J.
