Reviews of Los Angeles rock band Cherry Glazerr’s new full-length Stuffed & Ready have described it as the group’s leader, Clementine Creevy, venting her frustrations with an unjust world. The reviewers aren’t wrong, but Stuffed & Ready takes Creevy’s angst and disguises it in cunning — and quite accessible — structures that borrow tricks from the likes of the Pixies and The Breeders. A model and actress who has appeared as a rock musician in the television series Transparent, Creevy turns Stuffed into a record of contrasts. On the record’s “That’s Not My Real Life,” she takes issue with “the suits” who are presumably keeping her down, and she seems to take aim at the patriarchy during “Daddi.” What’s more, her pop savvy makes Stuffed an addictive collection of killer riffs and ingenious song structures. Appearing with Cherry Glazerr at the Exit/In are post-garage-rockers The Nude Party, who evoke Love and The Seeds, along with Nashville revivalist rockers The Medium. 9 p.m. at Exit/In, 2208 Elliston Place EDD HURT
