Giant crepes stuffed with delicious fillings, dosas hit that sweet spot between healthy fare and comfort food. (Don’t fight me over carbs — they are good for you, damn it.) The Farmers Market Dosa at Dosa Hut seems even more virtuous, though. The night I went, it had kale (although it usually has chard). The braised greens are mixed with sautéed red onions, peppers and potatoes, all spiced just so. “It’s like a vegetable sandwich,” one of the owners told me, and she is not wrong. It’s the perfect amount of food (unlike dosas I’ve had in other cities that are Cheesecake Factory-size portions). And it’s utterly delicious.
