In the dog-eat-dog world of college sports, there's no link lower in the food chain than women's bowling—unless you're at Vanderbilt. Last year's group of pin-strikers won the national championship, the first such title in school history. And with top recruit Hamilton—yes, someone takes the time to rank bowling recruits—the Lady Commodores appear ready to continue their roll. The New York native has been bowling since she was 3 years old, averages a 215 and has won more than $30,000 in prize money, with most of it probably going toward the purchase of funny-looking shoes. —CALEB HANNAN
