Yassss Henny: Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness to Officiate Doug the Pug's Parents' Wedding

Queer Eye hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness said "yas" to officiating Doug the Pug’s owners’ wedding, according to Doug’s July 30 Instagram post, which garnered over 122,000 likes in just one day.

Doug posed next to a sign that reads, “JVN, will you officiate my parent’s wedding?”

Van Ness shared the picture to his own Instagram story, adding “I can’t wait” with two heart eye emojis.

Fans commented more than 1,000 times, calling the collaboration "meshing of the best worlds," wondering if other dogs will fill the ceremony’s chairs and hopeful the entire experience is televised.

Van Ness will take time out of the third season of Queer Eye to help out with the wedding. The Netflix series currently has four Emmy nominations, and Van Ness has his own Emmy nomination for Gay of Thrones, his Game of Thrones recap series.

Doug, a Nashville resident, is known for chillin' hard in pug-sized outfits and celebrity friendships. He has 3.5 million followers on Instagram and his own line of merchandise.

Owner Leslie Mosier, a Belmont University graduate and self-titled "celebrity dog momager," quit her job in 2015 to manage Doug’s social media accounts. She is engaged to Rob Chianelli, Doug the Pug's dad.
