It's no secret that Connie Britton has magical hair. Her hair is so perfect, in fact, that I want to pluck a chunk off her scalp and weave it into my own in the off-chance it will propagate (that's how hair works, right?). The Nashville star has long been asked what her secret is but she's always stayed quiet ... UNTIL TODAY! Watch the above video to finally learn how Britton manages to get her hair to appear as though beams of angelic light are shining from within each strand.
The hilarious video, directed by Britton's Nashville co-star Laura Benanti (who also makes an appearance), was made for the launch of the new #AskHerMore campaign, reminding red carpet reporters and paparazzi to look beyond a woman's clothes, makeup and, yes, hairstyle, and talk to her like a real-life human being with a brain. Not a novel concept! But seeing as how nearly every awards show is just a montage of reporters talking to women like they're animated Barbie dolls, it's obviously a necessary effort.
Pair this with Britton's appearance in a Sleater-Kinney video and her efforts to try to defeat Amendment 1, and I'm pretty sure I'd vote for her for President.
