Jeff Barrie's documentary Kilowatt Ours became a rallying cry for renewable energy, spurring screenings around the country and encouraging Metro to examine its own habits. But it wouldn't have been as effective without Barrie's wife Heather, a deadpan scene-stealer who provided a needed lift. The Burns and Allen of energy conservation return in this short film, which offers new common-sense tips on plugging energy leaks and lowering utility bills. The short premieres tonight on three giant flat-panel screens at the ICON building in The Gulch, with live music, refreshments and appetizers provided. A $25 donation is encouraged.
