This event isn't listed on KingBilly's busy website (kingbilly.com), which touts a heavy-duty touring schedule of local gigs, concerts, fairs, college dates, Predators games, etc. But it's testimony to the up-and-coming country-bluegrass-rock band's openness and independence that they'll share a stage with an improv troupe that's going to exploit them for fun. Riding the waves of an increasing fan base, a popular GAC feature ("Who Is KingBilly?") and some very worthy and multifaceted music, KingBilly could be the next big thing—if they aren't already. This gig features three or four members of the sextet—talking about themselves, playing some acoustic tunes—with the FBX ensemble contributing its own comic riffing on the raw material provided.
