Leonard Maltin’s Movie Guide may have come to an end after 45 years in print in September 2014, but the movie trivia podcast that anchors itself around the seminal capsule review book continues to fire on all cylinders. On Doug Loves Movies, comedian Doug Benson pits a panel of comics against one another for film trivia dominance, culminating in the dazzlingly difficult “Leonard Maltin Game,” which is like Name That Tune, except with way more weed jokes.
Benson, who last lampooned Footloose at The Belcourt as part of the Wild West Comedy Festival, returns to town for a live taping of the popular podcast. Bring a clever nametag (which, fair warning, Doug will almost certainly mock you for) and try not to get a contact high for this one-show-only engagement at Zanies.
