Cambridge Jones' The Image Makers at Tinney Contemporary

Award-winning photographer Cambridge Jones has shot luminaries both local (Jack White) and not so local (Queen Elizabeth). The couturier known as Manuel has a similar range: He's dressed celebrity clients from Elvis and Dolly Parton to The Beatles. (He also created Johnny Cash's "man in black" look.) Tinney Contemporary's new exhibit The Image Makers: the Artistry of Manuel and Cambridge Jones brings these two talents together, offering a sneak peak of Jones' upcoming book, in which star clients model their favorite Manuel pieces. Sunset Grill will provide snacks at Saturday's gallery opening, but if this confluence of fine art, fashion and free food isn't enough to get you out of the house, there's more: Local songwriter/musician Warren Pash will be on hand to perform songs from his new album Plastic Rulers. Pash is a hit-making songwriter whose latest work shows off his talent for tight, clever composition.

Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Nov. 1. Continues through Nov. 29, 2008
