Some beer snobs used to look down their noses at cans as an inferior packaging method, suitable only for cheap mega-brewery products. But as canning technology has improved, many breweries have moved from bottles to cans as a more affordable and ecologically friendly way to distribute their products far and wide to the masses. Local breweries like Mill Creek, Fat Bottom, Black Abbey, Jackalope, Little Harpeth, TailGate and others have embraced the can, and the beer shelves at your local grocery have gotten a lot more interesting as a result.
