Submissions Are Open for the 2019 Scene Photo Contest

710 S. First St. Nashville

Aw, shoot. It’s that time again: Submissions are open for the Scene’s annual photo contest!

We want your photos. All kinds of photos. Dog pics? Definitely. Rusty industrial-landscape pics? Sure. County fairs? Mud-caked people? Motorcycle races? Sneering children? Yes. Yes. Yes. Bird’s-eye views of Five Points? Of farmland? Of Publix? Bring them on. (We see a lot of the Gulch already though — just saying.)

We’ll publish 30 finalists in our Nov. 14 issue. Two folks (a grand prize winner chosen by a panel of judges, as well as a readers’ choice winner) will bring home $300 for their winning photos. You can vote for the readers’ choice winner Oct. 31-Nov. 7 at ScenePhotoContest.com. May the best shutterbug win.

Check out last year’s finalists — and read about grand prize winner Matthew Green (whose winning photo we proudly display above).

Participants must live in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Wilson, Sumner, Robertson, Dickson or Cheatham counties (photos must also be taken in one of those counties) within the past 12 months (Oct. 21, 2018 - present).

Enter here by Oct. 20. And please follow the directions! We will be sad if we are forced to disqualify you.
