  • Pepsi Backs Gay Agenda, Workplaces Expected to Look Nicer

The American Family Association has declared a jihad against Pepsi for its help in supporting the gay agenda. Though we're not quite sure what that is, it sounds really bad. In a personal letter sent to Scene -- it was addressed to "Dear ##FirstName[Friend]##" -- the Tupelo, Mississippi group says Pepsi donated "$500,000 to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and $500,000 to the Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). The $1,000,000 was to be used to help promote homosexuality

  • Culinary Dispatch from Asheville: Tupelo Honey Cafe

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Fox family itinerary a couple of weeks ago when I solicited dining recommendations for Asheville, N.C. • Making Bells Bend Park a Better Place for Bees--Angry, Stinging Bees

Chris Chamberlain, from Pith's sister blog, Bells Bend Park has plenty of spots perfect for trees.alerted me to this cool joint venture between Soundforest.org, the Tennessee Department of Forestry, and Metro Parks to plant a bunch of trees in Bells Bend Park. Now, it is my usual policy to try to make Bells Bend Park as unappealing as possible so that you yahoos won't crowd it all up when I want to use it. For the moment, though, I am willing to (mostly) set aside my mission to convince
