The Alexander campaign says this TV ad will run statewide starting today, "setting the record straight regarding Senator Alexander’s consistent, principled stand against Obamacare."
Update: The Senate Conservatives Fund responds to Alexander's ad: True, the senator stood up to President Obama at the White House Health Care Summit, but then he voted to fund Obamacare.
"Lamar Alexander spoke out against Obamacare when all the TV cameras were on him, but then he voted to fund Obamacare when nobody was looking," said SCF Executive Director Matt Hoskins. "When Lamar Alexander had a chance to stop funding for Obamacare's implementation, he abandoned Tennessee families."
On March 20, 2013, Lamar Alexander voted in favor of the FY2013 continuing resolution, which included funding for the implementation of Obamacare.
