A very enthusiastic-sounding audience — including an Instagramming Scenester —was on hand at TPAC Friday night to hear a special live taping of the WBUR-FM Boston show On Point. Shout-outs to Emmylou Harris, Taylor Swift and Hospital Corporation of America! The episode, about "rolling out ObamaCare," includes the voices of: former Gov. Philip Bredesen (pro-ACA), who recently told current Gov. Bill Haslam to take the money; Dr. Wayne Riley (pro-ACA), president, chief executive officer and professor of internal medicine at Meharry Medical College; Lawrence Van Horn (kinda anti-ACA), associate professor of management and executive director of health affairs at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt.
Six months out, host Tom Ashbrook asks, "Is Nashville ready for ObamaCare?"
