Sen. Stacey Campfield: God's on Our Side

God will take care of those Democrats in his own good time.
  • God will take care of those Democrats in his own good time.
Last week, state Sen. Stacey Campfield was blaming Superstorm Sandy and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for the election results and decrying President Obama’s “shuck and jive song and dance.” This week, in the latest installment of a blog series that easily could be titled How a Negro Wound Up in the White House, Campfield turns his attention to the mysterious ways of the creator. According to Campfield, God intended it to happen, presumably like rape pregnancies, but God will fix things later by doing something mean to Democrats, so it'll all work out in the end.

I understand some people are still upset because of the loss. Look at the up side [sic]. We will get over it and win again. God has a way of making things work out his way, in his time. We are lucky in that regard.

On the other hand, I know people whose side won the election and they are still bitter.

They have a hatred they can not [sic] cure no matter what they do. Not by winning, drinking, running around, calling names, tearing down, punishing others, stealing what they did not earn, no matter what happens around them.

It must be hard for these souls to live with that kind of selfish, bitterness and unforgiveness inside. I like to say it's like taking poison and hoping your enemy will die.

We are lucky we dont [sic] have their problems.
