Obama in Tennessee: Nowhere To Go But Up

Posted By on Wed, Aug 29, 2012 at 3:00 PM

The Washington Post's blog The Fix shared a neat-o chart (after the jump) today, comparing the President's vote share in 2008 to his current polling numbers.

Lots of inferences to be made here, as the blog details, but notice the President's numbers have improved in just four states (all of which he lost, of course). The biggest jump? Tennessee, where he went from 43 to 46 percent.

Not sure what to make of that — as the chances of Tennessee going blue are roughly the same as Joe Carr getting an award from NOW — but there ya go.
