Today, of course, is Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, as declared by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. The onetime presidential wannabe and semi-passable bass player intends to show support for Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy's public stand against gay marriage. And since the subject has been generating quite a bit of discussion here and there on Pith, I thought I'd throw one more bird on the grill, so to speak.

A T-shirt company called Tees With ’Tude has decided to take a stand (and to cash in, no doubt) on Poultrygate. And while some of you will cry fowl, I find some of the slogans on the shirts rather entertaining.

In fact, I think we should declare a day where folks descend upon Chick-fil-As around the country dressed in these shirts. Who's with me?! (No, I'm not a stockholder in Tees With ’Tudes.)

An explanation of the inspiration for the shirts from the Tees With ’Tudes website — and some shirt designs — after the jump:

Chick-fil-A's attitudes towards gays & lesbians is shameful based on their financial support of several groups with anti-gay agendas. In 2009 they donated nearly $2 million through their WinShape Foundation to groups that have anti-gay agendas, including Focus On The Family, Exodus International, and the Family Research Council.
