You might remember about a week ago, when Pith discovered Tennessee Firearms Association executive director John Harris' habit of posting apparently homemade anti-Obama images — with the enthusiasm and frequency of a middle-school girl. That post was filled with links and screenshots of the specific images, due in part to the assumption that Harris might possibly remove the photos or close off his Facebook profile to the curious public.

As it turns out, though, Harris has been undeterred. (Grab a beer and browse for yourself.)
Harris had already disqualified himself from being taken seriously on the Hill when he went about pissing off potential allies, calling GOP leadership an "axis of evil" and accusing Republicans of bowing to the "golden goose" of corporate money
That last bit may well be true, but shouting it in a press release is no way to win friends and influence people. Harris and his association were shut out of negotiations over guns-in-lots legislation, which is now dead for the session.
Asked today about Harris' latest release, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey confirmed what astute observers had already started to deduce: No one's listening to John Harris.
A brief excerpt of Ramsey's conversation with reporters on the matter:
"What did you think of John Harris' latest missive, where he was talking about the 'Biggies' and the tensions..."
Ramsey: Who?
"[laughter] John Harris? Tennessee Firearms Association guy?"
Ramsey: Is he with them now?
"So you don't take him very seriously?"
Ramsey: who?
"John Harris. J-o-h-n H-a-r-r-i-s."
Ramsey: No.
