The Human Rights Campaign, which calls itself "the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization," is bringing their "On the Road to Equality" bus tour to Nashville this Friday, with a press event scheduled for 10 a.m. on the north steps of the Capitol.
Will noted public gayness-suppressor Stacey Campfield show up and tell the HRC folks to stop gaying up Tennessee with their gayness? We at Pith do not have a crystal ball. But we do have an email from HRC that says Rep. Brenda Gilmore, Metro Council members Erica Gilmore and Peter Westerholm, Tennessee Equality Project Executive Director Chris Sanders and HRC's Karin Quimby will make some remarks. It also says this event is free and open to the public, and that you can find out more about HRC and the tour here.
