Guitarist Adam Agati, pianist Jody Nardone, bassist Jerry Navarro and drummer Nioshi Jackson comprise an able ensemble, and the record also features guest appearances from his brother, trombonist Roland Barber, and Giovanni Rodriguez, a percussionist comrade from Barber's other band, El Movimento. They join many other headliners at a special concert Tuesday marking the launch of Barber's company and honoring the city's wealth of jazz talent.
