Who, tell me who, could have foreseen that the controversy over whether illegal immigrants were being hired at the construction site for the Music City Center would fade, but the problem of most of our money going out of state would remain
But no worries, people. I predict that from here on out, the convention center will be smooth sailing. We'll have the newest, best convention center in the state, in a great location — downtown in one of the country's premiere music cities. That should be a boon to us for decades.
After all, it's not like any other music-centric Tennessee city — maybe one not only with an airport but with train service — is thinking about building a new convention center. Right?
