Phillips Five Reasons You Should Vote Today

5. Because if you're a woman in general or a black man, people fought like hell for you to get to vote, even in puny elections like this.
4. Because this is one of the last elections you can vote in without flashing a photo id.
3. Because you will scare the shit out of the mayor if you write in 'Emily Evans' for various positions.
2. Because the District Five race is stranger and more entertaining than most of what's on TV right now.
1. Because, if you don't vote, you're leaving the decision to people like me.
