Tracy Morgan Is Coming Back!

Posted By on Mon, Jun 13, 2011 at 4:43 PM

Tracy Morgan will be returning to Nashville next week on his whirlwind tour of forgiveness-begging for his Nashville rant against gay people. E!Online is reporting that he's coming with GLAAD to a protest of "Don't Say Gay" but GLAAD says he's coming to apologize to his Ryman audience. I guess there's no reason he can't do both.

I also think Morgan ought to meet with members of the local media and pressure them to include the phrase "Liz Lemon" at the end of every Stacey Campfield quote.

No, seriously, watch how awesome this is. Here's Campfield un-Tracyed:

“We had to kiss a lot of ugly girls at the prom, but we took the pretty one home. As long as we got what I was looking for, which was defunding Planned Parenthood, I’m willing to let it drop.”

Equating making it harder for poor women to get adequate healthcare with getting to take a pretty girl home? Creepy and strange. But let's run that same quote through the Tracyfier:

“We had to kiss a lot of ugly girls at the prom, but we took the pretty one home. As long as we got what I was looking for, which was defunding Planned Parenthood, I’m willing to let it drop, Liz Lemon.”

OK, still creepy and strange — but it doesn't sound as nutty coming from the dude who sang "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah" as it does from an elected official. Even this one. Maybe Stacey Campfield needs his own Safari Planet.
