OK, in the interest of full disclosure, let me preface this by saying that I'm shilling for Big Deal Nashville, a product owned by SouthComm, the Nashville Scene's parent company.

While Big Deal Nashville offers a lot of great deals to local restaurants, businesses, performing arts groups and the like, this particular deal is so noteworthy Pith feels the need to grab our megaphone and shout it out. For $20, you get an $85 dollar ticket to the Thursday, March 10, Nashville Symphony performance, featuring world-renowned conductor (and former Nashville Symphony music advisor) Leonard Slatkin directing a performance of Philip Glass' Concerto for Violin No. 2 "American Four Seasons." Also on the agenda: Rossini's Overture to La gazza ladra (The Thieving Magpie) and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2 in C minor, Op. 17, "Little Russian."

That's a savings of 77 percent! And to a concert that would be well worth the full price of admission. But hurry — you have until midnight tonight to purchase tickets. Multiple tickets purchased in one order will be seated together.
