Tony-winning Broadway star Levi Kreis is talking about his experience at Belmont toThe Washington Blade.
So ... it didn't go so well. He came out to his roommate, who reported him to the administration, who then deliberated about whether to kick him out. They decided not to, but the stress of the situation caused him to leave Belmont before graduating.
And yet, The Washington Blade is reporting, that "He has also since reconciled with the college roommate who outed him, and Belmont University recently even invited him to return to complete his degree, something he says he may do early next year."
Belmont, like any large institution, follows many paths at the same time. Paths that lead to reconciliation and healing are good ones to be on.
