The Tennessean is reporting that come May 2015, Nashville will host what may be the biggest convention in its history: a National Rifle Association wingding drawing some 50,000 Second Amendment supporters to the Music City Center. The city evidently beat out burghs such as Philadelphia, Louisville and Dallas for the event, which Convention & Visitors Bureau President Butch Spyridon tells the daily will fill between 5,000 and 6,000 local hotel rooms (many at the not-yet-built Omni).
Pith has never attended an NRA convention, but we expect it's something like this:
