The Farm Bureau certainly needs a good woodshed session. Just as does the NRA. Along with representing interests of membership also comes social responsibility. Something none of them, membership or FB leadership, apparently thinks about at all. If they would bother to consider the ramifications of deaf and blind reflex attitudes inherited from those who have gone before it would become readily apparent that government would stay off our backs a whole lot more readily than when it tries to correct stupidity with legislation. All they had to do was feed the animals. Now that's not so hard is it? If there hadn't been a juicy expose none of the legislative stuff would ever have become an issue. And the humane society, PETA, et al would be denied what seems to be an almost deliberately prepared soapbox from which to crow their message.
Wake up Farm Bureau. The flames are growing. If you don't you are about to get your butts scorched.
